About The Steeplechase Cancer Center
Located on the campus of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, The Steeplechase Cancer Center provides comprehensive cancer services of the highest quality within a calm, compassionate, patient-focused environment.
Our three-story, 63,000-square-foot outpatient facility includes the latest technologies to treat cancer and help patients regain control of their health.
The center provides a variety of educational and support programs related to cancer and wellness. Our services include complimentary medicine programs, including tai chi, meditation, yoga, reiki, and massage, as well as the Sanofi US Wellness Boutique and a Resource Library for patients and their families.
Each patient's treatment is guided by a multidisciplinary team that continually reviews and updates treatment protocols for the four most common types of cancer-breast, colorectal, prostate and lung cancers. These teams ensure we provide the most advanced care to improve the quality of life of our patients.
The cancer center is accredited by the American College of Surgeons and is a certified Comprehensive Community Cancer Center.
The facility is named in honor of the Far Hills Race Meeting, one of the nation’s most prestigious steeplechase races. Since the 1950s, the race meeting has raised more than $17 million for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset.
